Our story
Veteran roots.
A shared future.
VALOR Racing Team brings veterans and civilians together through physical activity, camaraderie, and community engagement.
What VALOR means
Courage comes
in many forms.
VALOR was founded within the veteran community, but our mission reaches beyond it. We believe courage can be found in recovery, rebuilding after loss, showing up for family, helping a teammate, or simply choosing to keep moving forward.
Our team represents resilience, service, camaraderie, and connection. Veterans and civilians train together, ride together, and strengthen the communities around them.
We build relationships through racing, outdoor recreation, wellness programs, and outreach. Competition is part of our story. The people and the community give it meaning.

Sean Clifton
Sean is a retired U.S. Army Special Forces Green Beret, combat-wounded veteran, and Purple Heart recipient. He served multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and was critically wounded by enemy gunfire in Afghanistan in 2009.
A long recovery, including more than 30 surgeries, reshaped his understanding of resilience, service, and healing. After retiring from the military, Sean continued serving through veteran advocacy and peer support.
Rediscovering mountain biking and BMX brought movement, challenge, connection, and fun into his life. That experience inspired VALOR Racing Team: a way to share those opportunities with others.
